Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 13, 2026
Welcome to **Dawago** ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal health information (PHI) and private clinical documents. This Privacy Policy details how we handle, process, encrypt, and share data generated through the Dawago multi-vendor doctor appointment booking and diagnostic lab portal.
1 Information We Collect
When utilizing Dawago, we collect necessary user profile inputs, payment records, and health documentation, including:
- Patient Profile: Full name, biological gender, date of birth, contact email, mobile number, and postal address.
- Medical Health Vault Files: Encrypted prescriptions, clinical laboratory test records, vaccine history, and general health logs.
- Physician Details: Specialist credentials, physical office addresses, schedule availabilities, and billing logs.
- Diagnostics Logs: Scheduled test packages, appointment records, home collection addresses, and patient billing details.
2 HIPAA & Health Regulatory Compliance
Dawago complies strictly with health record regulations, including the **Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)**. Any Protected Health Information (PHI) processed or transmitted through our platform is subject to the following safeguards:
- Access Controls: Unique user authentication limits account visibility. Only authorized doctors and the patient themselves can view clinical files.
- Audit Trails: Detailed logging records every file request, modification, and transaction for accountability.
- Integrity Safeguards: Cryptographic integrity check values protect clinical files from tampering or unauthorized adjustments.
3 Medical Record Encryption Standards
All health records uploaded to the Dawago patient medical vault are encrypted using **AES-256 (Advanced Encryption Standard)** in flight and at rest. Secure Socket Layers (SSL/TLS) protect network data transmission. De-identified statistical logs may be processed for analytical improvements without compromising user security parameters.
4 Diagnostic Partner & Driver Sharing Guidelines
To fulfill diagnostic tests, Dawago shares limited, essential data with third-party diagnostic vendors and certified collection drivers:
- Diagnostic Providers: Access details containing the specific tests requested and the patient profile context needed for accurate test evaluations.
- Collection Drivers: Access only names, contact phone numbers, and physical sample collection locations. Drivers NEVER have access to medical history files or historical prescriptions.
5 Your Rights & Consent Controls
You hold full authority over your digital health profile. You may modify account details, revoke lab partner access tokens, or delete your clinical files from the vault completely at any time. Revoking access will automatically delete all stored documents and related history within 30 business days.
6 Privacy Policy Revisions
We may update this policy to reflect platform updates or legal changes. Continued use of Dawago after updates are posted signifies agreement with the revised policy.
